Details of chemical analysis

Acceptable samples
The following samples have been received: metal, inorganic materials, liquid samples, etc. Organic materials cannot be analyzed. Radioactive materials cannot be received. Samples containing osmium and thallium cannot be analyzed by ICP-AES because of waste liquid treatment.
2. Reportable elements and their content
Consultation must be conducted. Please notify us analytes of interest to be carefully quantified. To decide analyzed elements, pre-analysis can be done by using a qualification or semi-quantitation method.
3. Sample pre-treatment
Sample pre-treatment including sampling and cleaning must be conducted by researcher oneself. If possible, please hand us enough amounts of sample (e.g., hundreds milligrams to several grams). If necessary, the sample of remaining will be returned to the researcher.
4.
ARCAM will conduct an experiment of analytical quantification with appropriate methods including sample preparation and measurements. If necessary, the experimental conditions can also be reported.
