Activity

　Analytical Research Core for Advanced Materials (ARCAM) is Service Division of Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University, Japan. It was founded in October 1945 and established in 1998. We provide elemental composition data of metals and inorganic materials. Researcher can be obtained analytical values by outsourcing experiments of chemical analysis on materials research.

　Researcher can use our analytical data for academic works including publication and presentation.

　ARCAM is not Certified Organization of ISO/IEC 17025.

　We are one of the co-operating laboratories for chemical analysis of Japanese Iron and Steel Certified Reference Materials (The Japanese Iron and Steel Federation, Tokyo, Japan).

　We also develop analytical procedures in order to obtain reliable analytical data. Our technical papars  have been published.
