1. Consultation

　For the following researchers, contact SAKAMOTO, Fuyuki via telephone or e-mail to be carried out experimental consultation: (1) a novice in analysis, (2) non-member of Tohoku Univ., and (3) a bringer of a new material.

2. Formalities before analysis

(1) Payment application form and permit (all researchers)

　 All researchers must draw up "Payment application form and permit" in Japanese.

(2) Non-disclosure agreement (non-member of Tohoku Univ. only)

　Non-disclosure agreement must be executed between a researcher (non-member of Tohoku Univ.) and Head of ARCAM.

 3. Sampling (pre-treatment)

　In order to prevent accidental contamination, sampling must be conducted by researcher oneself. Metal sample should be cut and washed (polished). Powdered sample should be packed. Liquid sample must be sealed. Each sample must be labeled.

4. Reception of analysis

　ARCAM will receive completed "Application form for analysis and report of analysis" and samples.

5. Analysis on ARCAM

　 Experiment will be conducted by ARCAM. The date of report cannot be informed. For example, about one month (sometimes two months) will be needed for ICP-AES analysis. Immediate order (member of Tohoku Univ. only) requires additional charge.

6. Report of analysis

　 When the chemical analysis is completed, ARCAM will send e-mail. After then, researcher will receive "Report of analysis" at IMR Building 3, 8th floor, #808.
